Craft Night!

Two of my friends from work and I get together about once a month and bead together. It's a lot of fun!

Last night I worked on a new design for a barrette. Lorelei made some earrings to go with bracelets she had previously made, and Pam worked on earrings she sells.

Mom's bracelet done!

Here is the finished bracelet! I hope my mom likes it.

Reversible Heart Bracelet

I'm almost done with this one. This uses two colors of triangle beads to make a reversible cuff. The hearts in the open areas are made of picture jasper rock.

I got the idea for the reversible triangle bead cuff from Bead&Button magazine (http://www.beadandbutton.com/BNB/default.aspx?c=a&id=615). They published instructions for this a while back. But basically it is just a square stitch with triangle beads. I had the idea to make the little windows by seeing another bracelet someone had done with windows.

This will be a birthday present for my mom!
